# Signal

![Select Signal to create the Signal Trading Bot.](/files/r8JR362FgY4qrjaA2kLu)

We are creating a Signal bot, so make sure Signal is selected. \
\
**Entry type:** You can choose between Dollar and Percentage. Note: percent is based on TOTAL account balance and not based on available balance. \
\
**Entry size:** Input your entry size. For example, if you selected dollars for "Entry Size Type" and put 100, the bot will open a position for $100 USD. Note, this is position size NOT margin used.\
\
**Order type:** Select the order type you want to use. Limit and Post Only will follow the orderbook until they are filled. Market will open immediately. Please refer to the exchange for further information. Limit entry size is limited to the maximum order quantity. For example, on BTCUSDT the max is 20BTC, if you try to enter with more it'll be capped to 20 BTC automatically.\
\
**Leverage type:** Select the margin type you would like to use. Cross will use your full account for collateral while isolated will be on a pair by pair basis based on margin used. Please refer to the exchange for further information.\
\
**Leverage:** Input the leverage you would like to use. Please refer to the exchange for further information.<br>

Once completed you can proceed to the next steps:\
Define your DCA as described [here](/trading-bots/create-a-trading-bot/dollar-cost-averaging-dca.md).\
Define your TP as described [here](/trading-bots/create-a-trading-bot/take-profit-tp.md).\
Define your SL as described [here](/trading-bots/create-a-trading-bot/stop-loss-sl.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guide.wickhunter.io/trading-bots/create-a-trading-bot/entry-types/signal.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
